    Siagi's Photo thread
Just a pictorial thread to document growth in my banana Siagi (Butters).

    Week 2 169g.

Not really sure what to make of it. It was pretty funny. He touched it, then instantly raced back up my wrist. I kept it though, it really shows his colors nicely.

    OK. Now I can explore.

    New hide
Picked up a new hide this week for Butters. Didn't really seem to care for it till I wrapped it in ivy to block the opening a bit. Now he will use it about half the time. Caught him coming out this afternoon. Little guy is getting big. 217g yesterday.

It almost looks like he is saying "oh no, he caught me." Beautiful snake. Love how the purple pops, even on camera.

    Week for and new skin
So Butters dulled over a few days ago and I figured he'd she'd next week. Eyes hadn't changed yet. I was away most of yesterday so didn't check on him. This morning I noticed how bright he was and found a nice shed in the corner. Really can't believe how bright he is! Getting a lot more black specks too. Not sure I'll ever get used to that as I am paranoid about mites. I keep scratching them to see if they move. Down a little in weight. 199g today thanks to the big poo behind the plant. TMI?

He would not hold still for a picture today so I had to put him on the mantle.

I've always been told not to take a shed as a sign of your husbandry, but how can you not on your first one?

    Thanks for looking,

    First rat!
I'm way more excited about this than I should be, but I feel this is a real milestone. No more mice! :gj: Just need to get him to come out of the hide a bit more, but he was in full on ambush mode.

    Re: Siagi's Photo thread
It was bring your snake to work day. OK. I work from home, but he seemed to be into it. Weighs in at 342g now.

    Making it hard to edit.

Making it really hard, keeps closing my script somehow.
