    She did it!
I know I am bit more excited about this than I should be, but my wife held Tucker this morning. He was out of his hide so I brought him out to weigh him. He's up to 158g from 118g two weeks ago BTW. Anyway, she's watching and says "fine, let me go wash my hands". I hand him over and she messes with him for the next 5 minutes. Progress! She's never held a snake in her life and admitted he was "pretty cool". :D

That's an impressive step Dave. Not only is our hobby addictive, it's also contagious. :)

BIG grats! I have a completely phobic husband who after 21 years finally agreed to let me have one, so I totally feel your excitement. I'm happy he's just looked at a pic. I'll probably do the dance of joy if he ever occupies the same room, much less touches or holds, so that is a HUGE step.

Now to get her addicted so you can have more snakes :gj:

Two in 5 weeks and now looking at a third with her blessing. I think I'll stop there though.

Always more fun if the enthusiasm is shared. :)

We have a homestead here. BF is on board with the goats, rabbits, and chickens. They feed us. He likes the dogs because they are good entertainment and protection. I am the animal person here, so these projects are all mine, with his blessing.

But, how does one justify a snake?
He doesn't hate the idea, but he sees it an an unnecessary expense.
I still want one...actually more than one.

Congratulations Dave! That is so cool. :) Let's just hope her interest continues.

Stopping is so hard I'm very fortunate that my wife like snakes also.

It's not me that you've gotta worry about now. On the way home from dropping the kid off at camp she asked if she could take Tucker out when we got home. The best part is she reached into the enclosure herself! :O Even had the lid off and her hand in before I got over there. She's hooked.
