    Doesn't eat
My ball did well for the first year. He was up to eating 8 week old rats at the rate of 1 every 2weeks. He then stopped eating for 6 months. I tried feeding him various size food. He finally ate 3 adult mice. The next week only 1. Then back to nothing. It's been a month now. Can anyone help me with this?

Do you have more than one ball? Any females? Is your bp actually sexed as a male or female, or are you just referring to it as him?

Of all your husbandry is correct. Then its probably the time of the year.

Do you have 1 or 2 hides? What's the temps? What's your hotspot temp?

I think we need more info to get a more educated guess.

I was told it was a male when I got it. The temp is 90 at one end which has a box hide and there is 5 inches deep of shavings at the other with a water pan on top which he likes to burrow into. There is a 45 degree log on which he likes to bask in the night under the heat lamp. His food is live. The tank is an aquarium, 50gal., 4foot long.

    Is this a baby?

Also, what is your humidity and how are you measuring your temps?
