Update on an update - rescued snake
Here's my update thread with the original thread linked in it.
    http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showthread.php?t=226698

First of all, I decided to have Khaleesi sexed and it turns out that she is a HE! So, since a girl name just wouldn't do, HE is now "Tyrion"!

Tyrion is doing very well and has gained 33 grams in the one month we've had him. It's scary to think he came to us at only 50 grams, but I think I can now safely say this little one is going to make it!

After a couple of assist feeds, I decided to buy a live mouse to see if he would eat on his own. He has now slammed 3 fuzzys (2 in one feeding) in the last two weeks, thus answering that question! So, even though it's a much more inconvenient way to feed, his well-being is my utmost concern. Therefore, a road-trip to the reptile store once a week is in my future for the time being. Once his weight/size is where it should be, then I will try F/T again.

His spine is still protruding more than I like, but it's much better than it was!

Nice! Now move him up to a hopper, they are like crack for ball pythons.

Hoppers are still just a bit too big for him, but VERY soon, I hope!

Grats, and I love your names! Just got my first snake, a normal BP I've named Professor Snape. I haven't had him sexed, I just say "he" because that's the name I chose :taz:

That's awesome. My snake is named Severus, which is Professor Snape's first name!

Awesome, Severus was on my short list when I was choosing.
