    No shed?
I got my BP June 7 so it's been about a month now. He's been eating great (one rat fuzzy every week) and temps and humidity are fine in his tank. But he hasn't shed and doesn't seem to even be showing signs of shedding. How often are BPs supposed to shed? I thought it was once a month? He's still pretty young, the breeder I got him from said he's about a year.

ps. I use the tank system because he is my classroom pet :)

It will happen when it needs to.

Mine that are in the one year age range tend to average about once every 6 to 8 weeks.

    It's happening!!

I got home from school last night and checked on him. Saw his eyes right away. Took him out for a picture then put him back! Later that night, I definitely noticed a change in behavior. He's usually up by 8pm and climbing all over his enclosure. Instead, he just stayed in his hide and I haven't touched him since. I'm making sure the humidity is staying at 60-70%.

Today was his scheduled feeding day, but I decided to skip today. I don't think he's up for food right now. That's okay, right?

I read up on the "Shedding Process" thread but is there anything else I should be doing for him?
