What's your average days from pre-lay shed to laying?
Just curious and wanted to hear feedback from other hobbyists!
My averages are 30-45 days, but have ranged from 20-50+ days! I think some factors that may influence this range include nutrition (which effects hormonal physiology), experience of female (first timer vs proven), husbandry/stress, temperature, history of disease/parasites, genetics, individual variability, etc.
Please share your experiences! Thanks!

If you'd have asked me a week ago I'd have told you 27 to 28 days. However, my latest girl I am waiting on is in a holding pattern and its been 32 days already. Hopefully soon.

This is a good question and I am very interested what the answers will be
Re: What's your average days from pre-lay shed to laying?
Well I figured I just add to this here as I have two girls ready now, but no eggs yet. I'll cut the one girl a little slack as today is day 27. The other one is at 32 days and just finished a second pre-lay shed yesterday, which I didn't even know they could do until she did. Stay tuned.
