Prince scared of scared of a shadow

This is a video of my Boa in the tub . He recoils and if u look u will notice its a shadow that makes him recoil

It's difficult for me to see the shadow. But it is interesting that he is doing that.

At about 17 seconds you can see that it looks slightly shaded . I didn't know why he recoiled until I watched the video and noticed the slight shadow my pad was causing while I video him .

Maybe it's some kind of defense mechanism? It thinks the shadow could be some predator it can't see yet...? :confusd:
