Raised scale?

I was holding my snake, and when petting It, I felt something that could be described like a raised scale? It felt like a scratchy bump. His belly isn't pink or anything, is this normal ?

Dry, bent scratchy scales can be caused from low humidity, dehydration, or minor trauma such as snags.
If proper husbandry is provided the scales will usually smooth out with the next shed.
