    BRB losing weight?
(I'm probably being a little overly neurotic here because I just saw a video of a snake with IBD and it scared the crap out of me, but I'm going to ask anyhow.)

I have a 10 month old Brazilian rainbow boa. Two weeks ago, she weighed 76 grams and today she weighs 70 grams. I usually feed her rat pinkies, but my shipment was delayed being actually sent out for about a week, so I ended up giving her a fuzzy mouse that I feed my corn snake last Saturday. Today, I tried giving her a rat and she refused-I noticed a few days ago that she's in a shed cycle, but this snake NEVER has refused a meal before. Other than that, she's been acting normally. She burrows and chills in her humid hide, hangs out on her branch, and she's been drinking water. Humidity stays between 80-90%, temp gradient at this moment is 75-84 degrees.

Should I be concerned or am I just anxious over nothing? I'm not really sure how much weight is a lot to lose in such a short period of time, so any help is appreciated.

I wouldn't worry. One good bowel movement can cause some rather impressive weight loss.

I have a few BRB's that don't eat while in shed. Just offer a feeder once they're rocking a new paint job.
