    Question about breeding my python
    Hi Guys,

My Ball Python (I was told he is het pied, not sure how I can prove) is now a year and a half old and I am thinking about breeding him soon. I want to breed him with a Black Mojave or something with black and yellow colours. What would you guys recommend I breed him with and how exactly does it work in terms of DNA and the end baby result?

For example, he is a standard looking ball python, het pied and if I breed him with a black Mojave, will he be a Pied Black Mojave? Not too sure how it works.

    Thanks,

    Dan

To produce a Pied combo both animals must carry the Pied Gene

You have a LOT of research to do so here are a few things to get you started

I remember when I first started out with these exact questions. It takes a lot of effort and researching to know how the whole system works. Not something you can easily stick on one thread.

The links Deborah gave you is the perfect start.
