My friend was trying to convince me to get a snake, and above all other breeds a ball-python.
Some how amongst the googling I ended up here...

You've come to the right place. Lurking is encouraged. If you are on the fence about getting a ball python, this forum has a way of gentle nudging you over the cliff and onto the side of BP ownership. As Pit alluded too, once you give yourself over to the dark side there is nothing to decide except how many are enough. I look forward to your first photo when you get one.

I came here to lurk around when I was first thinking about getting a snake. I was a little afraid of bps but this forum changed that completely! I went to a breeder and got my first, a male albino, in January and loved him so much that I got another a week later. I now also have a brazilian rainbow boa. It's really an addicting hobby!
