How many time for one male...
Hi guys. I have a question about the ball python's reproduction. Is possible to put one male with several females in one week, for the reproduction? I mean, can one male with several females mate, in one week? thanks guys :gj:

He could, but why would you push him to the extreme like that? A male needs to rest in between pairings with females! When the males breed , that usually takes over their desire to eat. So potentially a regimen like what you are proposing can prove lethal. He really only needs to be with one female for 2 or 3 days per month. Followed by at least 2 to 3 days rest and offered food. You can breed your male to death with a schedule like 3 females in one week. Be careful! :O

Ok. Perfect, thanks for your advice. And is the same if we considered one month?Maybe could be different for the male... or not?

I cycle males to 2-3 females in rotation. He gets offered a meal after his cycle (6-9 days). If he eats, he gets 4-5 days off. If not, he hits another rotation in 2-3 days.

We're talking healthy 700g-1000g males here. Smaller males (500-700g range) will only see 1-2 females using the same cycle but only 4-6 days and maybe a 7 day "off schedule".

I just try to make sure my females see a male every 3 weeks.
