    wich one is better quality
    Hey everyone,

I got the option on both of these Banana's,

since there is an significant difference between the 2 I was wondering wich one would be considered the better quality.

    nr 1.

    nr 2.

as you can see nr 1 is a lot lighter and has a lot of white on his sides.

so wich one is the better quality one? or maybe a better question would be, wich one will give better combo's?

    thanks for looking

It depends on weather you like lots of purple or the blushed sides. I personally like the 2nd one better because I love bananas with a lot of purple.

    ok thx

but what would be considered they higher quality Banana? I forgot to mention both Banana's came from the same clutch, that makes me wonder if I would buy the one with the more whites on the side could I still get some Banana offspring that would be darker? or would they all be lighter?

My plans for this would would be to breed him to my beautiful dark Mojave female.

and I got some other females ofcourse but I'll have to see where it goes after I have had offspring from that pairing

Yeah they seem like high quality bananas. I think breeding one of them to a dark Mojave is a smart move cause which ever one you pick you will likely get some purples.

Quality means nothing in my opinion... it is totally up to you which one is better. A low white pied can still make high white babies. A higher purplish banana can still make blushed bananas and vise versa. Pick the one you like the most. A banana is still a banana. I like them both to be honest and I would have a hard time choosing which one I like the most. Not because of quality but because they both look awesome.

If you are wondering about quality, they would have a price difference. Things that are better quality tend to have a higher price tag. If they are the same price, then obviously the breeders sees them as equal quality. Both my husband and I agree that we would pick the top one.

Number one has a retained shed and that would make me ask the breeder a few more questions. Number two looks like the runt of the clutch and I would want to know if he is a problem feeder. If they both came from the same clutch they both have some issues. Oh, they both are lookers but beauty is only scale deep. And there are more important health questions. :salute:

hey about the 2nd being the runt, it may seem like that but that photo of the 2nd one is taken before his first shed I had seen on his facebook page the photo of the first one was made couple of days ago and the shed is completely off now after he gave him a bath cause the little guy thought it was necessary they get his head full with poop, the humidity was a bit low during this guys shed as he was a couple of days away when he came back home he fixed it all, I do know the guy and have visited him before and his animals normally all look fantastic.

they both have eaten twice now, so they waiting is for their 3rd feeding to happen
