They are at it again! or aren't they?
    Hey everyone,

Yesterday I placed my male Super Pastel Calico in with my Lesser Pastel female again and a couple of hours later I saw what I think was a lock (looked exactly like the time before)

this morning they where locked again and I took some pictures, when I took these pictures I was sure I saw them Locked but after seeing the pictures full size on my computer I am not so sure anymore.

First the 3 pic's that show what i saw when I opened the tub.

Now those look like like right?

here come 2 of the above pictures in full size, but only of there tails

after seeing this I am not sure anymore they had a lock or not. I know a male has 2 hemipenes 1 on each side so it could be he was locked with the hemipenis on the other side.

Please give me some reassurance and tell me this looks like a good lock (but only if it is ofcourse haha)

thanks for looking and helping me out

haha, yeah but that was not why I was in doubt.

It kind of looked like he was way to far to the side of the female but like I said he could ofcourse have lined up with the female for the hemipenis on the other side :)

    Thanks Albert.

I am just hoping now that everything will go as it should and if so I hope the odd gods will give me a break and let me lay eyes on a Calico Lesser Pastel, I know there is a chance at a Calico lesser Super Pastel but it feels like asking for to much and I don't want to jinx it haha :D

Exactly this. Males only evert one of their hemipenes to insert into the females vent during breeding. Great pictures and an even better lock! :gj:
