This little sweetheart was surrendered to me by its owner. It's ridiculously small and is covered in unshed skin. The lady that owned it said she just wants what's best for the snake and she can't take care of it. So I'm taking it home to my little quarantine set up. I think that might be a pretty little pastel hiding under those old scales.

I have a small collection, and a small set up in another room for this little baby. Never rescued before, but hoping for the best.

I think you're right! Looks like a pastel to me. Poor guy. Hope he settles alright and gets back to good health. :) Is that just one layer of shed left on?

Great project, and kudos to you for taking him in! Probably turn out to be the best feeder in your collection soon. :salute:

It looks like just one layer of shed. Got the little baby home and in a nice humid quarantine tub. No signs of mites or anything, thank heaven. Just needs some TLC that I'm more than happy to provide. Will update with pictures soon!

You are awesome for taking in this poor little guy! I'm sure after a good long soak so the old shed can come off and a few solid meals there will be a beautiful pet inside that old shed.

After a nice soak the old shed came off. Pretty little thing. For not being handled or well taken care of this little one is a sweetie. Not even head shy. Going to let it rest for a few days then offer a meal. Once I get my probe set I'll see what I have.
