Baby is 47 grams. Advice please
Hello. I need some advice on a 2 to 3 month old underweight ball python.
I purchased this baby from a pet store (not mentioning names). They said he was eating live mouse fuzzies so I brought one home on the same day they would normally feed him. He refused to eat it and then I noticed mites so I soaked him in warm water and cleaned out his enclosure
He ate a f/t fuzzy about 4 days later.
I weighed him and he is only 47 grams.
He refused the next meal and I saw more mites so I used Nix to treat the tub this time and gave him another warm water soak.
Two weeks later and he ate a f/t mouse hopper after refusing f/t rat pups.
My question is: Do I need to do anything other than continue to offer the f/t hoppers for a while?

I agree with lizardlicks.
At this point in time, you need to be worried about adding weight.
It could potentially stress him out if you continue attempting rat pups.
