Just out of curiosity what do f/the rats smell like when heated with a blow dryer?

Even if the fur is not wet per se, it still smells like wet fur heated up. Not burnt, just really heated up.
At least mine do because I measure with a temp gun and take them up to around 100 give or take a few degrees.

Ah, yes. Rats that smell like pee is very common. But whether they smell like pee or not, they still stink. It is never a smell I could never get over.

I've never been bothered by the rat smell my feeders have. Big cheese so far has been really good about shipping rat that are clean and in good physical condition, which I've heard is not always the case with other suppliers. I heat my rats in warm water that I slowly bring up to temp. Never noticed any particularly strong smell, but if you sniff the rats they will smell like, well, rats!

My rat source (BulkMice) here in Houston is also very good about giving clean rats. I have never dried my rats after I thaw them and I serve them soaking wet. Its much easier than heating them all up with a H.D. and my snakes get plenty to drink with their meal. Its a win-win and my snakes never complain about it.
I believe this has to be a trick question so Im going to say that a rat heated by a H.D. smells like cotton candy. Rat, is just too obvious of an answer.
