    Some breeding questions
I've been doing research on breeding and getting ready for next season when there was a 'whoops!' pairing. ( That's an entirely different thread. ) I've been doing even more research now, and I've got some questions. The pictures are the best i could get with the way my girl was laying, and one is fuzzy cause it's through her tub.

From what I've read they get that lumpy kind of look when they're building follicles. If the pairing was on the 1st is that in about the right time frame for this to be happening? What are the odds that one pairing results in a clutch? Can a female just go through the motions of everything and not actually produce a clutch?

I'm still getting an incubator ready just in case. If I don't need it this year at least it'll be ready for next year.

Side note question - Thoughts on an Ivory Queen Bee and Enchi pairing?

Pairing sounds great to me, mind you this is my first year so I'm no expert. But my pinstripe was paired to my normal girl once or twice I don't remember and she's about to lay eggs. As far as going through the motions goes, they can reabsorb the follicles I've heard a lot of people say that. So just keep an eye on her and get that incubator ready just in case.

Yeah I'm still pretty new too. I've cared for them for quite a while but never bred them. I guess only time will tell what's gonna happen with her. I can't say I'm not a little excited about the possibility, even if it wasn't a planned thing.
