Ok, I KNOW that you supposed to feed everyone at the same time.

However, Elvira just recently switched from live to F/T, and she refused 2 1/2 days ago. So being the tough love Dad that I am, she would have to wait 10 days for the next offering.

Well laid plans, right? Every time I walked into the room yesterday my 13 yr old tame as a snail would charge the glass in strike mode!

So I caved and warmed up the last rat in the house. As soon as the door opened, WHAM!

Now here's the problem, I look over and see this sad look of my Boa.

Her stomach still has a lump in it from eating Elvira's left overs just 2 1/2 days ago plus her 2 rats!

Then as soon as thing are put away, Elvira has already slammed down her rat and is asking for more.

    Sorry! The Freezer is bare.

LOL, my boas always look like that as well, even when they still have the feeding lump. So do my retics. So do my king snakes. The problem with them isn't getting them to eat, it's making sure they don't overeat.

It's nice to see they are healthy and have good appetites.

    Not at all.

    It's a 60 watt Zoo-Med on a dimmer.

The iPad really magnifies that red light to the extreme! :taz:

This time of year the A/C vent is off and the door is closed to the snake room. The temp is 80-81 in there with a ceiling fan on low for ventilation. That 60 watt bulb gives a perfect 90 hot spot.
