In her newly shed glory!

I took some advice from here and handled my girl to see if that would get her to shed and she did it!!
I don't know why I expected it to be kinda laid out like they are when you find one outside from a wild snake but it was just a little clump that she pooped in..
But she is so pretty now!! This is a during and after! I may be weird but I'm actually really proud of myself for keeping her husbandry good enough that she shed in one piece her first time with me [emoji4]http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/06...b29fc744e5.jpg

Yeah it was definitely a surprise hahahahaha.
About an hour after I found it she took the biggest poop I could've ever imagined. I've read on here their poops are awful smelling and up to this point none of hers have been.. This one definitely was.. [emoji23]

My Royal is an absolute piss-ant when he's in shed, and is sweet as can be when he's not.

My normal is also this way when he's in shed. He'll eat when he's in shed, but he acts like a total jerk when i handle him.

:) Don't feel weird about it, I think we new owners have a right to feel pretty damn good about the fruits of our efforts to dial in our husbandry! There are a lot of ways to eff up if you haven't done any research at all, so knowing that we've put in the time to learn about it, and then worked to make it all happen, and seeing it pay off is cause for a happy-dance in my book!

Congrats on the good shed, she is BEAUTIFUL in her new skin! :D

Maybe someday waaaay down the road.. I'm not sure. I'm in college and have other animal related hobbies so I probably won't have another for awhile. I love her though!
