Did you breed her? She looks as if shes rolled over to warm the other side of the eggs (mostly pregnant snakes do this)

I haven't bred her, she is only about 1350 grams

Could be parthogenic. Reptiles and amphibians can asexually reproduce from time to time.

Laying inverted does not necessarily mean pregnant. Sometimes they just lay that way. Males do that as well.
Side note: nice size for a 2014 hatchling!

Agreed, nice sized girl for that age! Very pretty too.

I saw my 700g mojave bee girl lying inverted once. It freaked me out a little too, since I knew it was a pregnant snake thing, and she certainly should not be pregnant... :colbert:

Assuming that parthenogenesis isn't to blame (which is a possibility)...
I would keep an eye on her, and if she doesn't exhibit the behavior again, chalk it up to "snakes are weird".

    yeah thanks,

I guess that is what you get when you have a girl that never skips a meal ;)

she is still laying like this, guess i'll leave her be for the moment but if she lays like that in 2 hours still i'll take her out and sort of feel her belly see if i can feel something strange
