First time breeding

I know this must come up often but its my first time breeding. This is my second week pairing i left them together for 4 days fed them both they both ate. I gave them 2 days downtime and put them back in together. To this point i have not witness a lock. The closest thing i have gotten is blood trails.

I check once in the morning and once at night. Its always the same thing the female in a coil and the male sitting on top of her. Vents no where near eachother

That doesn't mean its not happening bc you don't see it . IMO, I would assume its happening and just keep pairing them and giving the male his breaks. That is great that they're both still eating. Keep pairing and separating is a way to stimulate them more.:gj:

What about the shed cycle and breeding i cant seem to find anything on it (both due)

Well, if its time and they are due to be together then leave them together. Really they only need to be together for two days at a time then separate. 4 days is too long to cycle in the breaks. IMO. Actually the shed skin is a pheromone containing stimulus and a freshly shed female is more attractive to the male.

I've heard that putting the male in while the female is opaque will give great results.
