We had those 20 years ago over here - virtually nothing would eat them.

Plus you have to factor in you coming home drunk and hungry.......

Lol, who would even think of stuff like that. If you can't feed a rat, or some bugs to your reptiles you shouldn't even have one. That's my opinion.

I saw some guy threw a defrosted chicken from Tesco into his Burm a few years ago .. not quite the same but vaguely similar idea .

I can see these things having use for omnivores like tegus and whatnot. Maybe they can also make a low-calorie version for overweight varanids?

That's actually the most well reasoned argument I have ever heard for them. As part of a whole exercise/ supplemented but calorie low diet they would be possibly a good idea. :weirdface

I picked up a few for my BTS to try out. I got the meat + fruit + veggies combo; don't remember which meat option off the top of my head though. The BTS really seems to like them. I use them as a supplement food for when I'm busy and can't prepare a well-balanced meal for him. I'm not comfortable relying on these as a complete diet, but they certainly seem better than alternatives I've seen suggested (cat food, pinkies, etc.)

As for the company itself, the people seem very nice and the links were packaged conveniently and professionally.

I actually ordered some of these for my BP and they're coming in tomorrow, I can't wait! There has been a LOT of great feedback on these. They're made from whole prey, and it seems like even the picky eaters take to them pretty well and health wise they do great on these.

I can't imagine anything I own ever taking one of those. Maybe my pacman frog, but she would eat a lego if I waved it in front of her face.
