Reba is into day 3 of her shedding. ( First one for me ) She is shedding in small pieces piece by piece slowly. I have soaked her twice ( 15 minutes each ) and still small pieces. I have the humidty around 70 but to keep it higher I need to dump water directly to the bark. Is this ok that she is shedding slowly like this or is there something I can do to help speed it up? :( :|

You can dampen a towel (not soaking) with lukewarm water and let her creep around in its folds to help her get some of the stuck skin off. How are you measuring humidity? How long have you had Reba? First sheds are often difficult and are more of a reflection of the care the snake had previously than the care you've given her, but you will need to keep an eye out to make sure that her eyecaps come off and to try to ensure conditions are right for her next shed.

I have had her for almost 4 weeks. I measure humidity with a guage ( not electronic ) that is in the middle lower part of her tank. As of tonight all she has left to shed is the upper neck and head. I wil keep a watch on her head to make sure the eye caps are off. She is more active tonight after loosing most of her dead skin last night. Is this my amagination or are they less active in the shed?

Yes, since snakes are vulnerable during their sheds they tend to hide up during this time.

You can also try placing damp sphagnum moss in the hides, essentially making them humid hides.
