How many can I own?

Hi there, all.

I was wondering if anyone happens to know how many rats and snakes I'm allowed to own in my home? I live in Liberty, Missouri.

Unless there is local legislation (which you'll need to research on your own), as many as you can properly care for.

You are probably not finding an answer to that because there is no limit. Usually restrictions on animals is on breeds or species and such.

How many are you wanting to own that makes you worry about it?

Im not on Facebook but I bet you can find a local group in your area that can help you out.

As far as I know (I too live in Missouri) there is no restrictions. If you need a more definitive answer for some reason let me know.

You can search for the municipal code for your city, county, and state, and read up on it.
