Brazilian Rainbow color changes

Evidently this is a well-documented thing in BRB's, but I wasn't aware of it until now.

I took my BRB out for a visit last night to check out her new paint, and noticed that her sides were extremely silver/gray. I assumed at the time that she had gained the new color with her shed, and snapped some pictures.
I had her out briefly this morning to weigh her, and noticed the silver was completely gone. Such a drastic change!

Oh cool! So I'm not the only one! I've been noticing this every night with my girl, Ember. I love the color change. It always makes her look brighter and shinier. The first few times I saw that, I was poking around her tub to see if she had shed.

Just another reason why I need one! So many animals I want, but so little time/money/space.... lol gorgeous BRB!

She was the first snake to really be "mine" so she has a special place in my heart. It helps that she's gorgeous. [emoji14]

Nice whitewalls! I've only noticed mine doing it at night. It's such a drastic change!

Thank you so much for posting this, I just got my first BRB and despite all the research I did prior to getting one, I never saw anything about color changes. I would have freaked out if that started, haha.
