Editing posts

Anyone know why I can't edit my posts? I see nothing to click on to do that.


Ok, now that I've posted this, I can edit this one, but when I post in General Ball Pythons, it won't let me...???

There is a time limit on it and as soon as someone else posts you cannot edit.

We work on the philosophy "you typed it you own it" :D

But you do get ten minutes to edit out any rule breaches, spelling mistakes etc. ;)

It was a bit frustrating for me at first because the only other forum that I participate in which had the shortest time window at the time was an hour. And I thought THAT was short.

I'm not complaining. It's just that I use an iPad and when I post pics I have to use the edit feature, so the clock is ticking. And I go through Tapatalk. Things don't always go as smoothly as planned. :)

If you have problems like that just ask a member of staff and we will try and fix the posts for you. :)

I would probably never edit for content, only for spelling, punctuation and grammar. I have a journalism degree and I can't tell you how much it bugs me to go back and read a post that was scribbled in haste on my phone and see errors!! :P:mad::O
