    Welcome to forum LL.

    I use coconut and am quite pleased with it. I use it in a tank. It holds a lot of moisture and releases it slowly. It is messy and sticky at first until your snake smooths it out and packs it down.
    At times my humidity gets too high and I have to give extra ventilation to bring it down. And this is with a tank with a screen top.

    I've used it beforte in Exo terras for my House Snakes and I liked it...
