what is a good digital scale?
I’m a first time ball python owner and wanted to know, what a good decent priced digital scale. And where should I buy it.

    Thanks :)

You can probably get a decent enough one that will go up to 5000 grams at Walmart or Target for $20 or less. Just make certain it has a "tare" button and you're good to go.

Here are a few to choose from: Digital Scales from Reptile Basics. I have the My Weigh 7001DX with Weighing Bowl and would highly recommend it.

When it comes to weighing your snakes a regular kitchen scale sold at Walmart will do, just make sure it could handle the weight of an adult.

I weight my snakes monthly and a couple days after they eat. Hope this helped

The most reliable weights are taken right after they defecate (their "empty" weight). Weighing them after a meal won't give you an accurate picture of how much they're growing, as they have a slow metabolism and take awhile to digest their meals.

I also think that is a great choice, might even be cheaper at Amazon. Great scale. I also highly recommend it.

I always feel the most acurate time to weigh is after they empty themselves (defecate, poop).
