    Northern alligator lizard
Hi I picked this cool guy up from my friend who had caught it in the wild and decided he didn't want it anymore so I snagged him up for 20 bucks and for a wild caught lizard he/she is super tame always eats on time for but I was wondering if anybody else has any of these guys?http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/06...c6869e8ff4.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/06...1d6d72cd71.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/06...77dc56f6bf.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/06...2ae5f878e2.jpg

I would be careful about keeping a WC animal around all your others, until you know if he is carrying any parasites etc, my guess he probably is. Just my 2 cents.

You can either get a fecal done at a vet to check for parasites or dose with panacur.

Yeah get the lizard a facial at a beauty parlour. It will let you know if they have worms. I heard mediterranean sea mud with cucumbers over their eyes are particularly effective at identifying parasites. :rolleye2::D

FECAL, These lizards are all over my yard, I'm guessing you bought him because the aren't common where you are located? It is common from my experience that most WC animals have a parasite load due to eating insects, or in the case of snakes the rodents that are wild as well. How long has this lizard been "captive?"
