Snake Weights

So one snake keeps packing on weight and the other is back and forth back and forth. These are sisters born from the same clutch. They have been very similar in weight up until Eden escaped. I figured Eden would fall behind but she is much bigger in weight! Both eat f/t small rats. Same schedule. The only reason I can think Cleo is behind is because for a while, Jen made me feed her mice but she quickly got over that when we were throwing them out because she wouldn't eat!

They have been waiting since then to eat because I ran out of f/t feeders and we were making a trip to the local reptile shop. Today is feeding day ^^ figured an extra week break wouldn't hurt. Both have defecated! What's going on here? 😉

It isn't uncommon for snakes to grow at different rates, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Cleo may still end up with a larger adult size than Eden in any case.

Im going threw this with my 2, bowsers still a small. Little guy while peach is growing like a weed she is easily double his size

Two of mine were hatched on the same day, differant clutches, morphs. The one I was for sure would be larger, now weighs less by 30 grams. The other one just turned out to be a more vivacious eater. I know it's not a big difference. But over the course of raising them, I thought for sure it would be the other way around. It seems to be a "challenge" to keep him up with the other. For a while there was a similar gap, maybe half as much as yours though. ;)

Well I definitely did lol I tried again after feeding and it said she weighed 710g (subtract 58g for her rat). I guess the scale had a dumb moment lol
