Second time lucky. Advice?
Okay so last week i had to return my lovely normal girl because she was loosing weight not eating and very small, she was 8 months old and 84g... bad i know. Her name was Akira and it was sad to see her go.. ive been looking around for a new one and im meeting a guy on tuesday to get my new boy does his weight sound healthy, hes 7months old and 243g hes a pastel and eats every 6 days on rat fluffs soon to be weaners, does that sound good? And also i have rat pups left from akira should i feed the new boy 2 of those at the same time to make up for not having fluffs or should i feed him twice a week? I dont want to stop him eating?? Re: Second time lucky. Advice?
Sorry the first little one didn't work out for you. :( What is your BP set-up like?
I would recommend buying from someone who really knows BPs to avoid getting snakes that are sick. I bought all 8 of mine from reputable breeders and have had zero problems with any of them.
Seven months seems a little old to be that low of a weight... I would look for a seven month old that was more like 500-700g.
Re: Second time lucky. Advice?
I got told never to buy under 100g, this boy is chunky and moving up a food class soon im sure he will put on more weight soon,i keep my bps in rubs/tubson a rack on aspen

It's true with the different growth rates. I bought my guy at around 60 grams, and now at 6/7 months he's 350 grams. Never had any issues and he's got a great feeding response, just small:)
