Use up current stock of frozen rats?
I currently have 30-40 frozen weanling rats. They look a little small for two of my snakes, but I don't want to waste them. Since I'm a new snake keeper, I just want to double check my plan with people here. Would it be ok to feed them the weanling rats every 4 or 5 days? Or should I just stick with weekly and buy small rats when it's time to restock? All three are males, weighing 425g, 399g, and 365g. The two heaviest are definitely bigger around than the weanling rats. It's hard to tell with the lighter guy, but he looks a tad bigger around than the rats. The 399g snake is underweight, so I fed him Sunday and today (Wed), since the rats seem so small.

I would not throw out any rats! Just feed more frequently, like you suggested. Sometimes a BP will take 2 in one feeding, which is also fine, as long as the feeders aren't huge.

Yay!! I was trying to make an educated decision. It's great to have a knowledgeable community to glean information from! :D

The Spinnerblast that I fed earlier today doesn't have a visible rat lump at all...

I wouldn't waste them, small rats where I live are $5.35 for 1 and the price just keeps going up jumbos are like $12 I think so I wouldn't waste any of them

Great Googly-Moogly! I'd be breeding my own if they were that expensive where I live - or going into the feeder business.
