    Refusal to eat? Help!
So I was feeding Zephyr her weekly hopper mouse, and I feed her live, so I dropped it in her enclosure. She defensively struck at it several times, injuring the hopper gravely. So I left the wounded hopper in her enclosure, not a good idea because I have learned that they bite. When I came back, the hopper was dead and smelled horrid. so I threw it out and cleaned Zephyr's enclosure. Since she has refused, do I wait until the next feeding date, or offer her more food asap?

Wait till next feeding day, same thing happened to me With frozen he kept striking defensively so I tried to feed next feeding and he still wouldn't eat so I waited 2 weeks without food to minimize stress and he took the rat then. Definatly nothing to worry about. Hope this helps
