    Hi,
I am a new BP owner.
I've had mine for a week and just fed him yesterday, I fed him one large F/T mouse.......

Today I open his tank to move his climbing stick back after I moved it out of his way yesterday.
Well, he went into strike position.
Did he do this cause he is still hungry?
And if he did, do I feed him another one today?
He is around 38" I believe...
I have a feeling he needs more food.
Or is it that he doesn't like to be disturbed after eating yesterday?
    :?
    Thanks!

First off, Welcome to the site! We're glad you joined us here :D

As for why he moved into strike position, he was probably just startled by your presence. It is best to give your bp at least 48 hours without really disturbing him to let him digest his food ( although if he leaves you a nice present, you will want to move him to clean that up ;) ). Was the mouse the correct size for your little guy? Was it approximately as big around as his widest portion?

    Hi,
    Thanks for the quick reply.
I think the mouse was a little small.
I ordered them online so I am stuck with them.

If they are a little small, you could always try feeding two of them every 7-10 days. Good luck.

I agree with led, you probablly startled your new BP and that is why he was in the strike position. I too would at least 48 hours after eating, whether large or small, before trying to manipulate or mess with your BP.
