A couple of storms rolled in and now my BPs are eating like beasts!
Is this normal? It's great, my girls are huge! Even one of my males is eating like a monster.
What behavior have you observed during thunderstorms? :D

Thunderstorms here in Houston and none of mine will eat...

I can see there being some logic to that.... People and animals can sense the barometric pressure and react in many different ways. Same with the full moon.

Yeah! It may not have anything to do with the storms, but I opened a window and they started acting really hungry the few days that the storms were rolling in and out. I thought maybe the increase in humidity and the difference in the barometric pressure made them want to pack on the weight somehow. :P
I'm in eastern Washington, by the way!
Re: A couple of storms rolled in and now my BPs are eating like beasts!
Even though it's been storming for days (weeks? months?) here, we had a different type of storm roll through from a different direction than the ones before it, and all three of my guys have been hiding all day! Not even an investigatory peek our of their hides. Which is unusual because they normally come out to explore at least once or twice during daylight hours, and they peek their heads out often....

I wish the storms encouraged their appetites, at least then all this rain would be good for something. Half the metroplex experiencing severe flooding and I can't get a juvenile ball python to eat :irkd:
I understand your frustration... :( 2 out of 3 didn't eat last night over here.
