This is Garnet - a friendly (so far) female that isn't too shabby in the looks department either. Hopefully she'll be a girlfriend for RoLo someday.

    Enjoy!

Thanks!!! She looks chunky due to the way she's sitting, but is actually at the perfect weight for a female blood of her age & size. You'd be amazed how many bloods in captivity are actually obese. ;)

Thanks Brandon! Now imagine the babies when I breed her to this guy:

Brandon, as soon as Garnet comes out of QT I'll be breeding her to RoLo, so hopefully within the next couple of months. Fortunately she came from a private pet owner, so I don't have to worry about a lot of "heebie jeebies" with her.

She's a smaller female - just around 4' in length. The babies ***if the Good Lord's a-willin' & the creek don't rise (as my grandfather used to say)*** will be possible het albinos since RoLo is 100% het albino, and I don't expect Garnet to have a huge clutch. Perfect justification for me to keep them all & raise them up for future projects. ;)

No...they're not morphs. Well, RoLo is het-albino, but he's not a visible morph.

But they are some of the best bloods I've been able to get my hands on after 5 years of hand-picking animals with the characteristics I like, weeding out the ones that don't turn out as I'd hoped, and raising up snakes for breeding stock that I hope will someday raise the standard of nice CBB red bloods. They represent a lot of blood (no pun intended), sweat, tears, and late, late nights cleaning cages. ;)
