Two not eating time to try live?
My male I expect. He's still getting out of the breeding season. But my female blue eyed leucistic has only ate once since February. Husbandry is appropriate and stable. Is it time to try some live mice?
Re: Two not eating time to try live?
Have you paired her with anyone? Both my males have not eaten since November when I had them locked with my female. My temps are good fresh water so I know they will b ok. Just frustrating when they don't eat for a while. So I wouldn't be too concerned yet.

No she's too young to pair up. Just...stubborn haha. I'm trying frozen rat pups before trying live and then giving up and waiting

I haven't had mine long, but he refused his last 2 meals. Waited til last night & decided I'd try a tip I saw somewhere on this forum. The mouse was mostly thawed & I took it (still mostly in its packaging, but its butt was sticking out) & put it on the top of the cage where he could smell it for a few hours. He struck quick!

That's a good idea. I was going to put rat bedding in there to entice her.

Maybe try both:) I was at PetSmart yesterday & almost asked them for some soiled rat bedding but figured I'd try the other tip first. I'm relieved it worked. Let us know if she eats

She will eat when she's ready. We have seasonal food refusals almost yearly. It is part of owning a royal, and I'll bet the person on this board with the oldest royal python will say that particular python has refused for long periods and is very healthy.
How old is the snake we are talking about here?
Unless there is a husbandry related issue, or some other type of condition, your snake will regulate its own food intake and come back around in due time.
I'd also recommend not trying to feed too often. At this point wait a week or maybe 10 days. Then keep offering very 10.
I'll try the tricks next weekend then!
Husbandry is fine; been triple checked.
She's a 2014 . I'd say Maybe 6 months
