Not uncommon at all. Sometimes both my adult BP and Boa will start at the rear and begin chomping away. I don't know if it is due to laziness or extreme hunger that they won't take the time to look for the head. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/05...0acd5fef17.jpg

I thought it was funny cuz that how she caught it, then proceed as normal with the head first.
