    Post-she's popping noise?
    Hi!

I got my first BP about a month or so ago and he finally shed for me this morning. I went to clean out his tub and as I was moving him I noticed a quiet popping noise. It isn't every breath and I didn't notice anything prior to him going into shed. He seems otherwise healthy, 100% himself and active, but I'm just a little bit concerned as some say that sound could indicate a RI. Is this normal or should I be concerned?

I haven't seen any mucus or spit bubbles, so I'm more inclined to believe tgat something else is up, but I'm new and would love some more experienced opinions.

Take a peek in the nostrils, you might have a tiny bit of shed hanging out in there

    The proximity to shed
makes me think it is shed related, but it could be the first sign of an RI. Watch this carefully, if it gets worse, or persists, you should see a vet.

I checked him out this morning and there was no popping to be heard. I'll still keep tabs on it and will definitely make an appointment with the vet if it turns up again.
