    Super dwarf
So with the pending usark victory I'm looking for advice as to where to get a pure SD from. Preferably kalatoa, obviously this will be after a final verdict is reached. Just looking for advice early.

The only name I have heard quite a bit for a pure SD is Travis Kubes. I know there are others, but he was one of the only names that came up when was digging around.

I have seen Reptile Ave bring one or two to the shows down here before, but its hit and miss on the pure SD's.

When the OP listed super dwarfs I assumed they were talking about PURE SD's. PP's website doesn't show any pure SDs listed. As far as I know the only "morph" for a pure SD at this time is Anery. So anything else would be a cross with a Dwarf or Mainland.

Correct. My understanding of the pure SD lines and localities is that they command a premium though, precisely because they aren't outcrossed with the mainland morphs, and because there aren't all that many of them available for sale yet. They're also in demand because there are buyers who want a retic for the attitude, food response, etc. but who don't feel comfortable getting a mainland that can turn into a massive adult.

    1) Travis Kubes, from Travis Kubes Pythons apparently has dimmed down his collection and is at current not breeding. Look for this to change in the future pending the final legislations that occur. Sad news as I have always enjoyed getting packages from him and seeing him at the shows in Dallas.

    2) Pures are not always what fetch a premium unless they are adult females - those command higher prices because they are ready to throw to mainland males and make smaller morphs.

    3) Pure WC will not be accessible, and will be outrages to acquire due to the fact that even with the injunction in place, we are still unable to import from outside of the U.S. we will, at best, be allowed to send snakes across state lines - and at worst, out of Fl and Tx but not into.

    4) Bob Clark works with some pures, though not always advertised. Vital Exotics sometimes has pure clutches. Can always give him a call and see what he has on the plan. Matthew Martin with the Monster crew is working with crosses - though he does have a pure pair he may have bred, so its worth looking into.

    5) Pures are extremely flighty, so on top of demand, look for possible issues with handling. I'd recommend a 50% F2 or greater (62.5%, 75%, etc) as these will have better attitudes, potentially cheaper prices, and are available in morphs should that be what you have any interest in.

Unfortunately, I have stopped working with Kalatoa and my entire project lists is scoped in Jampea locale for the fun size - awesome coloration enhancers - and larger spectrum of never done befores. If you run into a question shoot me a DM / PM and I'll advise how and when I can.

    Cheers
