Possible Het?
Hi there,
Semi-recently got a normal ball python and now we're best friends - his name is Nali and he's our first snake. We got him off of some guy from Craigslist who knew nothing about how to care for snakes. Apparently, the guy we got him from got the snake from a garage sale before that. We don't know anything about him except that he's a male - I was watching a youtube video about ID'ing possible pie-balds hets and the guy showed the belly of a normal ball and then the belly of a het. Although Nali doesn't have the two black stripes running down the sides near the tail, he's got a completely white belly. Anyone know why? Is he possible het for something else? Is this normal? Thanks in advance! Pic should be attached.

Given the chain of custody, I'm pretty confident in guessing that he's a normal ball python. Also, the picture isn't working - check your link. :)
"Normal" ball pythons are pretty varied themselves, so unless you know something specific about his parents, (buzz kill time) I wouldn't get your hopes up. As the saying goes, "When you hear hoofbeats, think horses, not zebras."

The clear belly does not mean he is a het. I have seen numerous normal ball pythons with clear while bellies, and those black lines near the tail, I have seen hets and non het with them. The only way to find out is if you breed him to a pied or a het pied.

I would say he's just a normal he doesn't have the "right" white to be a het. Normals really vary

Normals vary a lot, nothing about your photo show him being more.
