I rarely post but I thought I would share this.Charles stopped eating in early October.I tried feeding him a f/t rat every few weeks which he refused.Last night I bought a live rat for 10.00(crazy price),killed it and he ate it.I hope he will eat f/t next feeding.Last year,two live mice broke his five to six month fast and he started eating f/t rats.I guess I will just have to deal with this every year.He looks healthy so I was never too worried but yesterday I just broke down and bought a live rat to kill.I can't afford that often and I have twenty rats in the freezer that cost a buck a piece from mail order.I wasted a few over the last few months trying to get him to eat.
I put him in a separate container for feeding.That seems to help.
