ok so thawed a mouse for hailey, my female BP. she wouldnt eat it. grrr. so i decide to see if rex will take it. nope. these guys are irritating. if their this hard to get to eat, then how hard are they to breed? maybe i should have gotten a male BCI and bred adrian instead.

grr their lucky i care about them so much

LOL im sorry jason, maybe your snakes just like buggin the hell outta you for fun.

I wouldent worry about them not eating, i always look at it as " Hey, if you are hungry you will eat,Right??"

As long as thier temps are perfect, things should be fine. :)

That would be cool to breed boas i bet adrian would make some cute babies ;)

I did that once, but i think some lizard, hawk or snake came by and grabbed it becuase when i took out the trash later, the mouse was gone.

It would have been kinda cool to see the skeleton.

Yeah, im tryin not to do that though, I really dont want to attract any more snakes to my house......Being that the only type of snake i have seen around here are rattlesnakes, i really dont want any of those by my house, lol NOT fun.

But its ok, i dont do that anymore after that one time, nobody has skipped a meal, and even the time i threw it away it was a leftover, i tried feeding two mice but ruby only wanted one that day. No biggie.

Yeah, Shelby can be a pain in the butt to feed sometimes too. Though, lately she's been eating like a pro.

When I first got her, I bought a frozen rat for her. I put it with her overnight. She didn't eat it.

    It stunk.

    Bad.

Though, now that I raise my own rats, if one of my snakes doesn't eat, the rat never stinks the next morning. That frozen rat I bought must not have been very fresh. *barf*

haha. i know how that goes...

Apollo got on my nerves when i couldn't get him to eat for a while. i threatened him... told him i'd throw him in the garbage if he didn't eat. i think he heard me, cuz that's when he ate his first f/t mousie. :)

Pandora made me mad when i tried switching to rats, but she's awesome now. she usually strikes the rat before it even gets halfway into the cage. for Pandora :)
