Pink Bellies?

Hello Everyone,
I've had a bit of a reocurring problem with my bps over the past month. They seems to have slightly pink bellies most of the time even when they are not shedding.
I have of course the heat tape on a rheostat and it doesn't get hotter in any areas of the tub over 94 degrees. So I can't see how it could possibly be a burn.
I thought maybe it was because one day the temps got pretty high so I waited to see if the pinkness would go away after they shed and it did but then reocurred after about a week or so.
Maybe its something else? They do nock over their water bowls fairly often and they inevitably sit in wet newspapers until I come home. Could this have anything to do with it?

It would be hard to tell until we can see a few photos. but 94 degrees is a tad hot. The water on the newspaper could be a issue especially if it was mixed with urine and feces. Water alone not too much.:salute:

94 is the absolute hottest on any of the tubs. Most are closer to 91-92. Here are a couple pics of one of my males that is probably the most noticeable. Most of my others are barely even noticeable or just a slight tinge of pink. Sorry for the poor pictures.

I would really appreciate some input.

it is not something to worry about. A barely noticeable pink tinge on the belly seems to be normal for some ball pythons. It tends to get more pronounced before a shed.

Watch carefully for any changes, if everything remains the same, then carry on.

My wife would say "make sure you hold him with a towel underneath". Yeah, gonna lose a few grams with that for sure. XD

Is 94 the temp under the substrate?

Yes 94 is the temp under the newspaper.

Ya I know I'm always so excited when they start gaining a ton of weight and then they lose 30 some grams when they finally poop lol. I haven't had one poop on me yet tho. Always happens during a shed and usually IN the shed. It's like they know I like to collect sheds lol.

So it sounds like the pink bellies are nothing to worry about?
