    When to start breeding?
I have 5 females currently over 1700g, 3 are over 2200g. But I'd say 4 more will be over 1500-1600 by december.

So, would you start breeding the ones at weight now, or wait till the other group is ready and go all at once?

    Thanks for the support! [emoji216]

Depends on when you think you will be able to handle it or a schedule that will suit you best. Probably best to breed the ones at weight now so you wont have 5 clutches of eggs at once, since 3 will be easier to deal with :)

I would say wait until fall, your girls will be bigger and more mature. While bps CAN breed all year round, people seem to have more success during their normal breeding season.

Also, If it is your first season breeding I would recommend only breeding 2 or 3 girls. Learning to care for the eggs/hatchlings can be stressful the first time around, so take it easy and enjoy it.
