    New Ball Python
We just got a new baby! We are talking and researching the possibility of breeding. Not sure if it is for us yet but for now Titleist is going to get some great love and care :)

Congratulations and the snake is beautiful. Trying to figure my next as well. Will be hitting up expos that are coming this year.

Definitely a beauty! I'm not sure if we have any expos up here in NS but I'd be a bit worried if I went to one - how do you stop yourself from buying? My excuse has been, so far, when I see one that I really want, that I have no place for it to live and this works, somewhat. But a voice inside my head keeps saying that I must be able to come up with a tub or something to put it in. If I didn't have a wife that talks some sense into me, I'd probably be sleeping on the floor and snakes would have my entire bedroom.

Lol my hubby is already planning on another. He wants a pied female because he want's to breed. So far he sees my reasons to wait as logical but who knows how long that will last! I'm all for another but it will be so costly! Plus we currently have the snake, a gecko (in a tank as big as the snakes!!), a red eyed tree frog and two dogs! Space, time and sanity are an issue along with cost. This snake was crazy expensive and his next will be more! The gecko is also special needs and takes extra care. I told him maybe when the red eyes tree frog goes we can downsize the gecko and start saving for another. Saving being the key word lol

Yeah, I love the pieds but they are expensive up here and fairly hard to find. I hear you about the space. I only have two snakes/enclosures and have an opportunity for a 55 gallon and stand (free) but not sure where I could put it. Also I would have to decide what to put in it!:)

Yea like golf ball haha. Golf BALL, BALL python....my hubby thinks he is clever! But he is a golfer. We can get a pied purchased and shipped for $650 from a breeder a province away if she gets a female out of her next clutch. But then we wait years to breed until she has reached sexual maturity. So we are torn there too. We want something easily handled and if its a full grown being shipped there is no garuntee it will be as hand tame as we would like whereas a baby (Titleist is a year but she said he has proven he can lock so he must be close to 2 years) can be handled enough to make sure he is comfortable.
