Avatar troubles. Help

This may seem like a really dumb question, but how do you resize a picture ? im trying to use a picture (of the hottest woman in the wolrd **cough** angelina jolie) for my new avatar but i dont know how to make it the size it needs to be, the size of the picture is...........22.2 kb which is too big.

download xnview, install and you should be able to resize it from there.

I changed it back to the old, cute little ball python for now, but still could i send it to somebody and then have you resize it for me ? My computer wont let me download that.

Ok never mind.I found one thats small enough, i found a few actually.Im not sure which one i want to use for sure yet but i coud always change it later.Right now ill stick to Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider.
