We found a wonderful retired couple who were very generouse to us recently.
I was calling around to find folks who breed rabbits for food in our area. I just recently changed jobs to work at the humane society so as you could guess my family income has been reduced radically, and shipping charges from feeder companies are too heavy for our wallets right now.
Anyhow we came into contact with some folks who breed Californians (the rabbit breed, not the people kind..lol) anyhow they do showing and everybody is pedigreed etc (these are seriose rabbit people!) Anyhow he offered us the rabbits that are not able to be pedigreed due to imperfections at a very reasonable price. In addition he also puts them down for us, individually bags and weighs them, then to the freezer untill we come out to pick up. He only charged us a dollar a pound. Good stuff!
We just fed all of our large boids including 2.5.0 Burmese pythons, the reticulated python and the new largest boa. Everyone is happy and well fed.
It just feels good to have them all have "the buldge"..lol
I just felt the need to share.
    Thanks
    Rusty

Good deal grats on the find there. I will eventually need to get some rabbit sources lined up for our dispose-all AfRock. Shooulda named her MIKEY - she'll eat anything. (Those rats the others didn't go for? Hehe thats where they go).
