    Give or take, about 1.25"-1.75" thick. They'll gain girth by eating, particularly eating rats.

    are talkin about measuring from the stomach to the back of a bp cause in girthwise my girl's about 4.5"?

    Yes, thickness, as in diameter, not circumference.

    I think weight would be the most meaningful measurement. I believe somewhere around 150-200grams would be normal for that length, but I'm just pulling that out of nowhere without checking any records.

    If there's truth to that, then I'm relieved. I was thinking that my bp was a bit underweight for her age and length. I just weighed her tonight and at 22+ inches she's 240 grams. I was under the impression that's not too heavy for her size, but maybe she is a healthy weight afterall. :)
